Singer Mariah Carey took to her Twitter account to announce the release date for her thirteenth studio album.
"The new era begins.. 7/23 #MC723," tweeted Carey.
Carey, who just finished a stint on the judges panel of American Idol, is also working on a new world tour to accompany the release of her new album. The album is preceded by lead single "Beautiful" which features singer/songwriter Miguel.
