'Awkward Black Girls' Creator Issa Rae Lands New ABC Deal

I'm so excited for Awkward Black Girls creator Issa Rae. The actress/writer has teamed up with Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes for a new comedy series which will air on ABC. This is such a great move for ABC because Issa knows how to write a great script.

The series, which is titled I Hate L.A. Dudes, will center around an aspiring journalist who serves as the only female voice on a male-driven internet radio show.

Issa will write and co-executive produce the series. Shonda Rhimes will executive produce the series via her Shondaland comapany.
