Mariah Carey shut down rumors today that she was feuding with American Idol judge Nicki Minaj. Rumors swirled today that the two were butting heads after Mariah repeatedly cut Nicki off several times while she was speaking during auditions.

I agree with the host of the show that American Idol almost needs this type of drama to remain relevant. The show has definitely ran its course and should have ended many seasons ago.
