Best Buy and Target to Scale Back on the Sell of CDs

Can't really say that we are surprised that Best Buy plans on stopping the sale of physical CDs in store. With the success of various streaming services, the sell of physical albums has declined tremendously. Be honest. When was the last time you bought a physical album? Exactly. Best Buy plans to stop carrying cd's in store beginning on July 1st.

Also, Target will send back any albums that don't sell in stores to the distributer to cut back on cost. It appears that online markets are definitely winning this dying battle. I'm sure it won't be long before the stores close altogether.
